BDC Durian Festival 2026: Savour Sustainably
BDC successfully hosted the BDC Durian Festival 2026 across Cyberjaya and Johor, welcoming more than 1,000 participants under the theme “Savour Sustainably”. The event brought together BDC employees, customers, strategic partners, contractors, government stakeholders, and community partners, creating a valuable platform to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration across Malaysia’s growing digital infrastructure ecosystem.
Strengthening Connections Across the Digital Infrastructure Ecosystem
The annual festival provided an opportunity for stakeholders from across the industry to connect in an informal setting, exchange ideas, and build stronger partnerships. By bringing together key players from the public and private sectors, BDC continues to support collaboration that contributes to the growth of Malaysia’s digital economy and data centre industry.
Launching the “Every Husk Counts” Sustainability Initiative
A key highlight of this year’s festival was the launch of “Every Husk Counts”, BDC’s sustainability initiative aimed at reducing waste and promoting circular economy practices. Through the initiative, durian husks collected during the festival will be transformed into nutrient-rich compost to support community greening efforts in partnership with Majlis Perbandaran Sepang (MPSepang) and Majlis Perbandaran Kulai (MPKu).
The initiative reflects BDC’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and creating a positive impact beyond its core business operations.

BDC was also pleased to welcome Thrive Well as its community partner for the festival, reinforcing the company’s commitment to creating meaningful social impact alongside industry engagement.
